Our annual youth theatre exists to benefit the youngest members of the Fillmore community. Children’s theatre offers a unique platform for young people to develop essential life skills, such as confidence, empathy, and teamwork, in a creative and supportive environment. Through acting, children learn to express themselves and explore emotions, helping to improve communication skills and self-awareness. The collaborative nature of theatre fosters social connections, teaching kids how to work together and respect diverse perspectives. Additionally, the immersive process of putting on a play boosts problem-solving abilities and resilience, as children learn to overcome challenges both on and off the stage. Kids work as a team and shine and as individual.
