The Fillmore Town Theatre can be rented to host your event! We are a work in progress in terms of restoration but offer a solid value for the dollar.
We have hosted movies, lectures and concerts for private groups.
The theatre has a basic LED lighting system for the stage: A HedgeHog 4 lighting console controlling 12 SHEHDS Moving Head LED 19x15W RGBW “4in1” lights.
The audio system for the stage consists of 2 PA speakers, 3 wedges, 2 wired handheld mics, 4 wireless handheld mics and 12 wireless headset mics
The theatre has a Christie CP2220 projector. Three JVC speakers behind the screen provide sound. The film screen is on a fly-away system.
Theatre sits 300 seats comfortably, 325 in a pinch. There is a large wheel chair/walker area available easily from the main lobby.
Concessions consist of fresh popcorn, prepackaged candy, canned soda, bottle water and, with a daily permit, beer (canned) and wine.

Public parking is in the front on Central or in the public parking lot in back of the theatre in the Fillmore St. public parking lot.
Fillmore is 25 minutes west of Magic Mountain, 25 minutes east of Ventura and 20 minutes north of Simi Valley. Los Angeles is an hour away as is Burbank.
The theatre has 325 seats on the floor. There is a balcony, however, public seating is not available in the balcony. Backstage talent area is available in the basement, accessible through two doors at the back of the stage. There is a large loading door in back that opens to the rear parking.

Mudturtle Theatrical Inc. is the 501(c)3 which owns and operates the theatre. Mudturtle Theatrical Inc. has a six member board comprised of community members and leaders dedicated to long term sustainability of the theatre.
